Blackburn fans will hope that he will settle quickly to life at Ewood Park and become the new “guv’nor” in town
Vince Grella plays primarily as a defensive midfielder for both club and country. He made his name in Italy playing for Empoli, Parma and Torino before making the switch to the Premier League.
He made his debut in the 4-1 defeat to West Ham at Upton Park, however it was Grella that set up Blackburn’s only goal with a fine headed assist. Manager Paul Ince at half time replaced Grella in a tactical reshuffle.
Grella features regularly for “the Socceroos” and made his first senior national appearance in the 3-1 defeat of England back in 2003, also at Upton Park.
Blackburn fans will hope that he will settle quickly to life at Ewood Park and become the new “guv’nor” in town.
