Back at London Road via a plethora of clubs, Williams is aiming to make his third spell with the Posh last longer than one season
The well-traveled Williams is now in his third spell at London Road, having made Peterborough his first port of call after being released by West Ham in 2003. That particular stay lasted just one season before Birmingham spent £350,000 on the powerful defender.
A further loan move to QPR followed before Williams headed back to London Road for a brief period that preceded fresh moves to Barnsley, Gillingham, Swansea and Wycombe. Williams returned to Peterborough, again initially on loan, in December 2007 before Ferguson made the move permanent in the New Year.
