Now over his horrific injury, Miller could be the next big thing to roll off the Gresty Road conveyor belt of talent
Local boy Miller joined the Alex at the age of seven and throughout his time at the club’s centre of excellence he consistently proved himself to be a prolific marksman.
A broken leg at the age of 16 held back the striker’s progress but his hard work getting back to full fitness was rewarded when he was given his first taste of League One action away to Bradford in November 2006.
He later marked his full debut against Blackpool with a goal and is now viewed as one of the most natural poachers in front of goal at the club.
The 2007/08 campaign saw him restricted to mainly substitute appearances but the forward remains part of the club’s long term plans
