Castillo moved to the Premier League via the Balklands and Red Star Belgrade, having made his name in his native Ecuador.

He moved from Club Deportivo El Naconal in August 2006 and ended up scoring 8 goals in his first season at Red Star. He played a vital role in the club winning a domestic double in 2007, and it was this form (and perhaps budget restraints) that prompted David Moyes to acquire the player initially on loan.

I Think that Everton need a strong powerful player like Casty. Very strong when he plays with good vision and range of passes. Also can't find socks that fit his legs.

He's mediocre and can't get into the team with Neville Osman Fellaini Cahill Arteta Pienaar and more. Unlucky

Dissapointing to say the least. Hasn't done very well at all since he has signed for Everton. Hasn't done much and looks out of depth in the Premiership. Very dissapointing.
