He's seen it all from bottom to top – including THAT Jimmy Glass goal – and now he's back with his first love
A Blues legend, Dobie began his first spell with the club in 1996. He earned his place in Cumbrian folklore in May 1999 when his header against Plymouth was parried by the keeper and Jimmy Glass famously slammed home a last-gasp winner to preserve Carlisle’s Football League status.
Dobie, who is a full Scottish international, left the Blues in 2001 when he signed for West Brom and after three years at the Hawthorns, he moved on to Millwall. A three-year stint with Nottingham Forest followed before he returned to his Brunton Park roots in January 2008.
