Manchester's master of the wing, he's now mellowing into a midfield maestro and teaching the upstarts a thing or two
With more than 750 appearances and 18 major trophies to his name, Ryan Giggs has seen and done it all at Manchester United. Poached by Alex Ferguson on his 14th birthday while training at Manchester City, he has been the model of consistency since his debut in March 1990.
With electric pace and skills on the wing, Giggs was instrumental as United overcame their 25-year league hoodoo in 1993. His game has mellowed with age, allowing the Wales international to in 2008 surpass Sir Bobby Charlton’s club record 759 games. He has won nine league titles, two Champions Leagues and was awarded the OBE in 2007.
