A key component of Hereford's 2007/08 promotion, Threlfall's back on loan at Edgar Street hoping to keep the Bulls in League One
Talented defender Threlfall joined Hereford on a season-long loan from Liverpool for the 2008/09 campaign after helping the Edgar Street outfit gain promotion from League Two whilst on loan the previous year.
Naturally a pacy left-back, but who can also deputise in the centre of defence, the Scouser began his career at Liverpool, progressing through the Reds’ youth-ranks prior to graduating to the club’s renowned Melwood academy in 2006.
A regular for both the reserve and youth teams, he was part of the side that lifted the FA Youth Cup in 2006 and 2007 – scoring in both finals – prior to joining the Bulls in November 2007, where he made 12 first-team appearances in 2007/08 either side of sustaining a nasty ankle injury in a FA Cup tie against Hartlepool that sidelined him for several months.
