A consistently solid performer anywhere across the back line, Rose has proved invaluable during his Edgar Street tenure
An arrival from Gillingham, versatile defender Rose continues to shine with the Bulls after joining in the summer of 2006, impressing with his strong performances at both full-back positions as well as in central defence and defensive midfield.
Predominantly a full-back, Rose has featured on the left side of defence for the majority of his United tenure, but was happy to fill in at centre-back in the absence of, captain, Karl Broadhurst in November 2007 and needed just four-minutes to head home a corner in a 5-1 mauling of Darlington.
Is likely to occupy the right side of defence in 2008/09 with Trent McClenahan departed and, left-back, Robbie Threlfall recruited on a season-long loan from Liverpool.
