Konchesky is like a 21st century Clive Allen, having turned out for four London clubs. Maybe he should give American Football a go then...
The Barking-born left-back made Fulham his fourth London club when he signed a deal in July 2007 that could ultimately be worth £3.25 million.
Having started out with West Ham’s academy, he joined Charlton in August 1997, becoming the Addicks’ youngest first-teamer, aged 16 years and 93 days, that same month.
After eight years in SE7, only broken up by a six month loan spell at Spurs, he rejoined the Hammers in July 2005 for £1.5 million, helping them to the FA Cup final – in which he scored – in 2006.
A competitive character with a fierce shot, his committed displays have won him two England caps, the last against Argentina in November 2005.
