Kisnorbo started out with Melbourne club Essendon, then Bulleen but following the collapse of the Australian National League, he joined SPL side Hearts in 2003 and quickly cementing his place as a first team regular.
A leggy, dynamic and whole-hearted defender, who likes to break forward when the opportunity arises, he followed boss Craig Levein down to the Midlands and although starting out, uncomfortably, in midfield, he soon won the fans over with his solid partnership alongside Paddy McCarthy at the heart of the defence.
Season 2007-08 proved to be the Australian international’s most frustrating of late as harsh red cards, a lengthy knee injury and relegation took hold.
