There was a time when Pedersen was Blackburn's main danger man. That time seems to be gone but Pedersen still poses a threat from the left
Born inside the Arctic Circle, the versatile Norwegian was snapped up from Tromso for £1.5m in 2004.
He initially struggled to make an impact under Graeme Souness, but flourished following Mark Hughes’ arrival, making the left midfield position his own and, with ten goals, finishing season 2005-06 as the second top scorer.
Pedersen, who can also play as an attacking wing-back or even as a full-back is best known for his ability from set-pieces, where his left foot is regarded as one of the most dangerous in the top flight.
His aerial presence is also important for Rovers, both in attack and defence.
