An energetic box-to-box midfielder with an eye for the spectacular, ‘Pooky’ is a product of the Swindon Town youth academy
The Swindon-born midfielder is one of the few members of the current first team squad to come through the youth ranks at the County Ground.
Pook made his debut for The Robins in Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie against Boston United in October 2003.
He went on to make his full league debut in a 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth the following season and was a regular starter under both Wise and Sturrock during the club’s League Two promotion winning campaign in 2006/07, scoring his first goal for the club in a 3-0 hiding of Grimsby.
