Midfielder

Youth team product Gradel impressed while on loan at Bournemouth in 2007/08 and will now look to take that form back to Leicester

A product of the Foxes Academy, Gradel earned a reputation as an exciting and tricky – if a little raw – winger in the club’s youth and reserve strings, earning a professional contract in May 2007.

Given an opportunity to make his league bow on loan, he joined Bournemouth in August 2007, and he proved to be a big hit in two spells at the club.

With 32 appearances under his belt and nine goals, Gradel’s form earned him a new three-year deal at Leicester in June 2008, where it is anticipated he will start featuring regularly in the first team set up.

I first saw him play for Bournemouth against Swansea and he tore the best defence in league 1 to pieces. He's your typical Football League dribbling winger.

He's capable of playing on both wings and has pace to burn.

He's a very hard worker, but final ball can sometimes be disappointing. He clearly has goalscoring ability, but it fails to materialise too often.

Why Leicester haven't given him the chance he deserves in the Championship is beyond me. Every team needs one quick little pest on the wings that's going to make life difficult for full-backs. Gradel is that pest for any club that wants him.

A really useful player to have and an instand fan's favourite at any club he goes to.
