Eye for a good pass coupled with strength, a versatile defender. Played under Calderwood at Northampton and now Forest
Strong, athletic and with good distribution, like Kelvin Wilson, Chambers sees his main role in the side as a centre-half, but those qualities allied with his agility have also seen him perform at right-back.
He started out under manager Colin Calderwood at Northampton Town and was signed by the Scot, after making 124 appearances for the Cobblers, in January 2007.
During the 2007-08 he featured regularly in the full-back position and enjoyed the second promotion of his career, following Northampton’s rise into League One in 2006.
