Pace? Control? Seems there's a lot Dyer has in common with namesake Kieron. Doubt he's had a ruck with Lee Bowyer though. Then again...
Given his pace and natural ability as an attacking left winger, Dyer was hailed as a star of the future at first club West Bromwich Albion.
He made his debut in a League Cup defeat at Wigan in 2002 and following a loan spell at Kidderminster, played a part in Albion’s promotion to the Premier League in 2003-04.
However, he could never nail down a regular place and following loans at Coventry and QPR was sold to Millwall in January 2006. He quit the club after just two months for personal reasons before resurrecting his career that summer at MK Dons.
In two seasons with the club he emerged as a crowd favourite and played a star role as the club won League Two promotion and the Football League Trophy in 2007-08. He then became Nigel Pearson’s second signing as Leicester boss.
