Mansfield, Sheffields Wednesday and United, Watford... if they're just off the M1, he's probably played for 'em
Dewsbury-born Bromby made his Sheffield Wednesday debut against Wolves in December 2000, having impressed while on loan at Mansfield, and such was his impact that he remained in the side for the remainder of the 2000/01 season.
A versatile player, who featured predominantly as an attacking left-back for Wednesday but who can also operate at the heart of defence, he switched to city rivals United in the summer of 2004, making over 100 appearances for the club.
Finding himself out of favour after Bryan Robson’s arrival as manager in the summer of 2007, he joined Watford for £600,000 in January 2008 and quickly established himself in the Hornets' first team.
