Former England U21 goalkeeper who has established himself as an accomplished shot-stopper between the sticks at Loftus Road
Following two successful loan spells with the R’s, Camp signed a permanent deal from Derby County for £300,000 in July 2007.
A superb shot-stopper with good agility and kicking ability, he was tipped as a future England keeper when he burst onto the scene with the Rams during the 2004/05 season, winning the club’s Young Player of the Year award.
He then won England U21 recognition (including playing in the first competitive game at the new Wembley stadium) but he found first-team chancers harder to come by at Pride Park and, having enjoyed his time on loan in West London, he was happy to move make the move south.
During the 2007/08 season, he was the only Ranger to start every league fixture.
