A Conference title winner with Chester in 2004, experienced leftie McIntyre’s started over 300 League matches and is deadly from the spot
Veteran midfielder McIntyre has over 300 Football League starts under his belt after beginning his career as a trainee with Tranmere Rovers in 1996.
After failing to establish himself at Prenton Park, the seasoned campaigner – who can also operate at left-back – joined Barrow on loan before settling at Doncaster Rovers, for whom he made over 60 appearances.
He lifted the Conference title with Chester City in 2004 and became a virtual ever-present at Macclesfield Town for over three years prior to joining the Shrews in January 2008 for around £50,000, featuring in over 130 league matches and scoring on 16 occasions, mainly from the penalty spot.
