Agile goalkeeper with vast experience across several clubs. A survivor of the 2005-06 Sunderland team, so probably a Rams fan
A former Luton Town youngster, Davis made 99 appearances for the Hatters before earning his big break with Wimbledon, where he racked up 131 appearances in four years.
A keeper who commands his area and has good powers of recovery, he spent two years at Ipswich before being snapped up by Sunderland boss Mick McCarthy in 2005 for the Black Cats ill-fated Premier League campaign.
Battered and bruised by the experience, Davis returned south to Saints in July 2006 and was an ever-present until he lost his place in March 2007 through suspension. Despite shoulder and finger injuries in 2007/08, he managed 35 league appearances.
