With superb close control and pace to burn - Stanislas could be the next Kieron Dyer - hopefully without the injuries...
Junior Stanislas is a promising left-sided midfielder who plays for West Ham United. He has pace in abundance and is powerful, with good set-piece skills and a fine long-range shot.
Stanislas began his career at West Ham’s academy and has played consistent youth and reserve team football for the club.
A foot injury during January 2008 frustrated him but he was swiftly back in action. He was part of Alan Curbishley's first-team squad that travelled to North American for the 2008/09 pre-season tour.
During the 2008/09 season, he went on-loan to Southend United. In nine appearances he scored three goals for the Shrimpers. In March 2009 Stanislas made his Premier League debut for West Ham against West Bromwich Albion. He scored his first goal for the Irons during their 2-0 win against Sunderland in April 2009.
Stanislas has played for England at both Under-19 and Under-20’s level and is being scouted by several other Premier League clubs as his career progresses at Upton Park.
