Currently at the back of the queue for a starting strikers job at Brighton. May need to return to non-league to kick-start his career
The livewire front man was signed from Aldershot Town in January 2008 for a fee of £55,000 but has so far failed to establish himself as a regular starter for the League One side.
Born in Spain, Dixon began his career with Wycombe Wanderers where he made some fleeting appearances for the Berkshire club over a six year period.
It was during successful loan spells with Crawley and Aldershot that the 5ft 9” striker began to make an impact – and his reputation as one of non-league’s most exciting forwards was quickly forged. Dixon faces stiff competition for a starting place in Brighton’s side but has the ability to create a big impression.
