Not a complete mentalist, but in fact a solid left-back who has lifted the FA Trophy three times under the tutelage for Mark Stimson
Dependable left-back Nutter joined the Gills, initially on loan, in November 2007, linking up with manager Mark Stimson for a third time – having also been signed by him for both Grays and Stevenage.
Nutter started out at Wycombe in 2001 but made just one appearance for the Chairboys prior to disjointed spells with Aldershot and Ebbsfleet.
But since hooking up with Stimson at lowly Essex outfit Grays in 2004, he hasn’t looked back. He made over 40 appearances for the Blues – lifting the FA Trophy in both the 2005 and 2006 seasons – before following his manager to Stevenage and winning the competition again for a third time in as many years.
