The youngest player ever to don a Palace shirt, Bostock will hope he can break records at White Hart Lane too

Bostock was subject of one of the most controversial ‘transfers’ of 2008, as he left boyhood club Palace for the bright lights of Tottenham before even signing a contract with the Eagles.

The north Londoners irked Palace chairman Simon Jordan by announcing they had agreed terms with the player before compensation had been agreed. Protracted negotiations eventually broke down with the fee eventually settled by a tribunal.

The youngest player ever to see first team action for Palace, at just 15 years and 287 days, it was no surprise that the club were desperate to keep him.

The Camberwell born attacking midfielder featured in some of Spurs pre-season matches, impressing with displays that belied his tender age.

He may find first team football at White Hart Lane hard to come by initially, but Juande Ramos has already shown he has no fear of using the clubs younger players, and Bostock is surely now the pick of the bunch.

This lad is quick and has a good shot. But i reckon he should have stayed at palace, i mean he's not getting any game time at tottenham and now that they got Frazier Campbell on loan and the way that they're going in the league its look bleak that he's gonna get any game time. I think they should loan him out the a championship team or maybe a team in the spl (Scottish premier league). This guy really has a future.

very annoying that spurs can just poach young talent like that from smaller clubs.
