Defender

The dynamic fullback really sealed a place in the Foxes' first XI in 2007/08. Sadly it coincided with the team’s relegation

An exciting quick-footed left-back, Joe’s competitiveness and pacey performances made him a regular in the Foxes side throughout 2007-08.

He made his debut in a 2-1 defeat to Norwich in April 2007 and remained in the side for the remainder of the campaign – earning the club’s Young Player of the Year in the process.

His performances since have won him many admirers, most notably West Ham, and it remains to be seen whether he’ll be playing in League One for any given time.

On the back of his Leicester debut Joe was named in the England squad at both U17 and U19 level, prior to making his U21 debut in a 2-0 win against Bulgaria in November 2007.

One of the most talented leftbacks out there, said it all that he was thrown into the U21's at only 17 yet didn't look out of place in any of the games he played.

Definitely one to watch - but if Leicester don't go up he needs to move to a bigger club

Excellent player, and i hope that a Premiership team snap him up, as his talents are wasted in League 1. He's brilliant attacking and just as good defending. Roberto Carlos, anyone?
