Serial journeyman with more than 360 league appearances to his name. Has brought experience and stability to The Robins defence
The well-travelled Vincent looks to have finally settled at the Wiltshire club after a career that has seen him play for nine different clubs.
Swindon’s current vice-captain began his footballing life as a trainee at Crystal Palace before spending three seasons on the south coast with Bournemouth.
Vincent then headed to Huddersfield before Portsmouth brought him back down south in a deal worth £800,000.
Further spells at Derby, Millwall and Walsall followed before Vincent shone during Sturrock’s brief period in charge at the County Ground.
Vincent has proved an influential on-pitch presence in a period of instability for The Robins.
