Midfielder

The combative Aussie midfielder broke his leg twice before he turned 18, but still bounced back and looks a real prospect

Australian U20 international midfielder Wesolowski played for Northern Spirit in his homeland before joining Leicester City in 2002.

He initially started out in the junior ranks at right-back but switched to the centre of midfield, where his tigerish nature and tough-tackling ability came to the fore.

His competitive nature earned him two broken legs before he established himself in the first-team during the 2006-07, vying with Steve Clemence and Andy Johnson for a starting berth.

A hamstring injury hampered his progress during the 2007/08, having just signed a contract extension that keeps him at the Walkers Stadium until 2011.

A great player. But has been hampered by injuries and is yet to really nail a first-team place. A pitbull type midfielder who always gives 110%

Excellent central midfield player. A real talent. I wonder if he hadn't had his injuries whether he would have followed others out of the door after relegation. We should hang on to him for as long as possible, as he will surely only improve.
