Mr everywhere, already well over the tonne mark for his club despite his age. Keeper aside, as far as we know, he can do anything when asked
A former Forest academy star, Perch was known for his versatility, featuring as a striker, then at right-back before switching to the central defensive role upon his first-team debut in 2003.
He has also played at left-back as cover for John Curtis but is at his best in the centre, where his athleticism, calmness and good ball skills have earned him a reputation as an effective holding midfield player.
Following a fine 2006-07 campaign, Perch found himself demoted to the bench for much of the 2007-08 season. By the start of the 2008/09 season, he had played 136 times for the club.
