He's fast, he's powerful, and he scores goals. And best of all for Baggies, Man City are happy to let him go
A product of Manchester City’s increasingly successful youth system, Miller moved to West Brom on loan ahead of the 2007-08 season.
It took him just seven minutes to open his account for the Baggies, coming off the bench against Preston to fire home a spectacular strike. In his next 14 appearances the blisteringly fast and powerful centre-forward proved an effective foil for Kevin Phillips, scoring a further eight times before a knee injury curtailed his run.
By that stage, West Brom had already seen enough to sign him permanently for a down payment of £900,000.
