Swindon’s no nonsense centre-back and inspirational captain has more than 230 league appearances under his belt
The former Manchester United youth player is another player to be brought to the West Country by former Robins’ boss Sturrock.
Aljofree had played under the Dundee United legend during a five-year spell with Plymouth and arrived at the County Ground from The Pilgrims in June 2007.
The strapping centre-back has Premier League experience, having made his top-flight bow for Bolton during the 1997/98 season.
Aljofree made his first appearance for Swindon in their 1-1 season-opener against Northampton in August 2007, and scored his first goal for club against Leyton Orient three months later.
