One of Roberto Martinez's Spanish imports, he's come good with some goals which will live long in the memory of Swans fans
A lively, hard-working and admirably unselfish striker, ‘Bussy’ joined Swansea in the summer of 2007 from the Espanyol B side, which plays in the Spanish Second Division.
He started out with hometown club Real Mallorca, making just one appearance for the first team, albeit alongside a certain Samuel Eto’o. Bauza represented his country from U16 to U20 level.
Although he took time to settle in his first season of English football, he came good towards the end of the 2007/08 campaign, when he scored a brace against Gillingham to clinch promotion to the Championship, then followed up with a hat-trick against Leyton Orient on the final day of the season.
