‘Fright’ has a scary disciplinary record, but the trained mechanic made a seamless transition from part-timer to full-time SPL player in 2005
A mechanic by trade until the age of 25, ‘Fright’ effortlessly negotiated the leap from part-timer with Stranraer to full-time SPL player in the summer of 2005.
Ever since, this left-sided defender has impressed, playing consistently under Jim Jefferies and becoming a firm fans’ favourite.
His disciplinary record lets him down a little: two red cards and eight cautions would have ruled him out of the last few weeks of 2007-08 if an ankle injury hadn’t done the job first. He’ll need to watch that.
