Delph is already in high demand and looks set to be the next top-notch export from the Leeds Acadamy
Fabian Delph follows in the long line of young players straight from the Leeds United production line, and this teenager is one of the best for years. Staggering pace and great ball control, Delph is proving a nightmare for defenders throughout League One.
Appearing 17 times already this season for Leeds, scoring three goals and picking up three Man of the Match awards in four consecutive games Delph is on the radar of many Premiership clubs. In 2008 he has already signed his first professional contract, scored his first senior goal and received a call up to the England Under 21 squad. All at the tender age of 18.
Leeds chairman Ken Bates has already rejected a bid from Newcastle for the teenager, but the Yorkshire club may have to brace themselves for a bidding war in January for the talented youngster.
