Groomed in the Ajax academy Esajas is a technically astute player. Brian Laws has high hopes for the flying dutchman
Signed from Vitesse Arnhem in August 2007, Esajas caught the eye of boss Brian Laws with his pace and trickery down either flank for the Dutch side.
He initially came to Wednesday for a trial period and, having made his debut as a sub against Bristol City, impressed Owls fans with his ball-playing skills, pace and good crossing ability.
Thought to be a direct replacement for West Brom-bound Chris Brunt, injury restricted the former Ajax youngster to just 18 league games in his first season, but much is anticipated from the Amsterdam-born player in future.
