Striker

A possessor of great pace, the striker has been a prolific goal scorer at youth levels for the French national side

One of the brightest young talents in French football, David Ngog signed for Liverpool from Paris Saint Germain in July 2008.

Ngog who is the cousin of ex-Newcastle defender Jean-Alain Boumsong, didn’t enjoy at good 2007/2008 season for Paris Saint Germain, only managing a single goal, and will be looking to prove himself at Anfield in the coming years.

Thought he looked average at best for Liverpool, but watching him play for France U21's last night he looked a completely different player and a very exciting prospect. Very constructive in a lot of what France done. Similar performances and he could be getting more game time at Anfield
