The youngster will be looking to make headway into the 'Pool first team after a year on the bench
At 16 years and 105 days Foley became the youngest player in Hartlepool United’s history when making his debut against Port Vale in August 2003. The speedy forward surprisingly failed to build on that promising start and was only used sparingly as a substitute over the course of the next few seasons waiting patiently for his first goal at senior level. The skilful striker broke his scoring duck in 2007/08 registering twice in the Carling Cup but remained a fringe player at Victoria Park, making just 11 starts throughout the season. Foley is still regarded as a bright prospect at the club.
