Midfielder

Having returned to Ewood after a dissapointing spell at Birmingham, Dunn has yet to recreate the magic of his first spell at the club

A gifted player who likes to break forward and link midfield to attack, Dunn is a former Rovers trainee. Dubbed ‘The New Gazza’ by Ewood fans because of his flair, technical ability and eye for the spectacular, he was an England U21 regular and earned a solitary full cap in a 2002 friendly against Portugal at Villa Park.

But having hit the target 30 times in 135 appearances, he fell out with Rovers boss Graeme Souness and joined Birmingham City for £5.5m in 2003.

Injuries left him as a spectator for much of his four years at St Andrews and he returned to Ewood Park in January 2007 for £2.2m. So far, he has failed to command a regular place in the side.

Starting to find his earlier form again. One of the most inform players in the Premiership. If he can stay fit and play 30 games he can score 10-15 goals

Such a dissapointing player. He could have had quite a good career but instead is now lingering in mediocrity. Definately not one of the best in the Premiership, he is average at best.

as soon as he hits form, he loses it straight away
