The Barking boy and occasional Swans skipper has come a long way from slipping out of the doors of Highbury
A former Arsenal trainee, Pratley switched to Fulham where he came through the ranks to make his debut in the Carling Cup against Wigan in September 2003.
Having made a substitute appearance against Charlton, he enjoyed two loan spells at Martin Allen’s Brentford where he played regularly in central midfield with the primary role of breaking up play and keeping things simple.
The boy from Barking joined Swansea for £100,000 in summer 2006 and has skippered the side in the absence of Garry Monk. Pratley netted five goals as the club won promotion in 2007/08.
