A bright prospect whilst at then non-league Exeter, Woodards has struggled since his move into the Football League
Currently on the transfer list at the Alex, Woodards proved himself to be a versatile and talented performer with Exeter City following his release from Chelsea as a youngster.
Able to play anywhere down the right flank, Woodards’ attacking forays down the wing brought him much acclaim in Devon during two successful seasons. A £30,000 deadline day transfer to Crewe in January 2007 followed, giving the Londoner his first taste of Football League action.
A good tackler and brave in the air, Woodards impressed during the early stages of his time with the Railwaymen but he appears to have fallen out of favour in recent times.
