Jamaican international cuts an uncompromising figure at the heart of the Hoops rearguard. Has been known to pop up with the odd goal
A no-nonsense, leggy centre-half, Stewart started his career in Jamaica with Harbour View. He came to England in February 2005, enjoying a successful trial with Darlington but a move was blocked by the Home Office.
Undeterred, he was back that summer of 2005 signing for Bradford City on a season-long loan. His imposing style and athleticism earned him a three-year deal with the R’s in the summer of 2006 and he has since emerged as a crowd favourite and danger at set pieces.
Stewart has made over 30 appearances for the Reggae Boyz.
