Since joining Peterborough in January 2007, big ol' Craig Morgan has grown into a key role in the squad
The powerful defender was a crucial member of Posh’s 2007/08 promotion-winning side. The Welsh international began his career at Wrexham before heading over the Severn Bridge to join MK Dons on the eve of the 2005/06 season.
He was signed by Ferguson for a nominal fee in January 2007 and has been instrumental in the club’s upturn in fortunes.
Morgan made his Welsh debut under John Toshack in a European Championship qualifying tie against Cyprus in October 2006, and impressed sufficiently to suggest he could be a regular starter in the country’s 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign.
