An ever-present for Crewe in 2007/08, Jones will again be key to the Railwaymen's fortunes
Attacking full-back Jones is noted for his rampaging runs down the left flank and occasional goals.
After making his professional debut for Leyton Orient in January 2001, where he eventually clocked up more than 70 first team games, Jones joined Kidderminster Harriers in 2005 only to see his new club relegated from the Football League shortly after his arrival.
The left-footer subsequently made a switch to Exeter City and it was in Devon that he really excelled scoring 17 goals in 83 games for the Grecians.
That record prompted the Railwaymen to pay £65,000 for his services at the beginning of the 2007/08 season and he has featured regularly since.
