Speedy midfielder, made his name at Yeovil when he put pay to Forest's promotion hopes - then helped his new club up a year later
A former Southampton junior, Davies was a regular scorer in the Saints’ reserve and youth sides, but made his professional debut in February 2004 on loan at League One side Barnsley.
A short, nippy player, it was his pace playing off the defender’s shoulder which made him a hit following a permanent move to Yeovil Town in December 2004. In the League One play-off semi-final against Forest in May 2007, he netted twice at the City Ground in an impressive display which many believe clinched his move to Forest.
He has since been employed as a winger, but injury hampered his 2007/08 campaign. He made his Wales debut against Trinidad and Tobago in 2006.
