Barcelona!! It wasn't a particularly beautiful horizon for Orlandi, but he's hoping to make much more of an impression in Glamorgan
The former Barcelona youth team player joined Swansea City from Alaves in the summer of 2007, but injury restricted him to just eight appearances in his first season at the club.
He is highly rated by boss Roberto Martinez, however, who values his versatility as well as his talent. Blessed with good technique and coolness under pressure, Orlandi is probably at his best on the left side of midfield, but he can also play at left-back or as a second striker.
He made 66 appearances for Barcelona’s 'B' team and impressed enough to be called into the first team for the Copa Catalunya, albeit as part of a weakened side. He has also spent time with Greek side Aris Salonika.
